After 2.5 months of travel throughout Australia's sunshine state, we have come up with a list of our TOP 10 Things to See and Do in Queensland!
Diving Australia's and one of the World's Best Dive Sites, the SS Yongala. A short 30 minute boat trip out to the wreck and we were diving with all things BIG! Giant Trevally, Queensland Gropers, Humphead Maori Wrasse, Sea Snakes, Turtles, Giant Marble Rays you name it...An experience we will never forget!
Nothing beats a little getaway camping trip with mates!
With our two new friends Lucy and Katherine we set up camp on Cylinder Beach for two days of fun! We enjoyed sunset picnics, leisurely walks along the coast and swims at the beach.
We saw highlights such as the SS Maheno, Lake Mckenzie, Eli Creek, Seventy Five Mile Beach, Wanggoolba Creek in Central Station Rainforest along with some dingos, kookaburras and whales!
What an incredibly unique and naturally beautiful place in the world.
We took a ferry from Brisbane Port over to the Tangalooma Wrecks on the west side of Moreton Island.
We pitched our tent right off the beach at the completely empty campsite 'The Wrecks' and enjoyed two full days of snorkelling around the sunken ships, sun baking on the beach and eating snacks!
Last minute detour to go waterfall hopping along the beautiful stretch of highway appropriately named ‘Waterfall Way’.

Us and a couple of friends took a road trip from Newcastle to Byron for the 29th Annual Bluesfest Celebration!

Walking barefoot over the fresh dunes, overlooking Tin City and shooting sunrise was absolutely incredible ... afterwards we had a blast sand boarding!
